Aquino is a little village of 5.000 people. It is the birthplace of the famous theologian and philosopher Thomas Aquinas. Aquino's best parts are the borough which is very nice even though very little, and the Vallone park. There is the S. Thomas and S. Constantine Co-cathedral Basilica and the 1.000 years old Church "Santa Maria della Libera". There is also an arch in honour of Mark Antony, a roman doorway ("Capuana"), and of course the ruins of the house of the saint.
